The Emerald City Jazz Kings
The Shedd Institute's resident historic jazz & classic American Songbook ensemble is now in its 17th season, offering 4 all-new programs each year in Eugene, Florence and Corvallis, as well as our annual Christmas at The Shedd.
Now Hear This
The Now Hear This presents 30 to 40 concerts each year in a broad variety of genres from jazz and classical to bluegrass, world music and country at The Shedd's Jaqua Concert Hall and the Hult Center's Silva Concert Hall.
Shedd Presents
Shedd Presents offers a fascinating, often stunning, mix of special projects by top local artists. It regularly premieres projects that subsequently become permanent ongoing features in the Shedd mix.
The Magical Moombah!
The Shedd's Magical Moombah is a musical vaudeville for kids. Filled with skits, songs and contests, the Moombah is designed to introduce youngsters to the great folks and popular songs that everyone should know.
Shedd Theatricals
Shedd Theatricals offers full and concert productions of the best of classic Broadway, paying particular attention to the fun-loving, witty, and totally sparkling musical comedies of the 1920s and '30s.
Oregon Festival of American Music
The Shedd Institute's flagship summer music festival, Oregon Festival of American Music is dedicated to the classic American Songbook, featuring classic musical theatre, cabaret, and lots of standards-based jazz.
Community Music School
Music School Home
The Shedd Institute's Community Music School offers year-round instruction through private lessons, classes, workshops and vacation camps in a broad variety of musical instruments, voice and dance and performance styles.

Private Lessons
Interested in private lessons? Over 35 Shedd faculty members offer private lessons in a variety of musical instruments, voice and dance and in different styles. All ages are welcome and lessons can begin any time.
