Few singers have the staying power of folk icon, Judy Collins. For nearly 45 illustrious years, her dulcet tones have graced our ears, and her poetic lyrics have galvanized a generation. She has released more than 40 albums, has had numerous Top 10 hits, Grammy nominations and gold and platinum selling albums. Her rendition of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" has been entered into the Grammy's Hall of Fame. Her version of Stephen Sondheim’s "Send in the Clowns" won the 1975 Grammy for “Song of the Year." From her discovery of folk music in 1961, to her new albums and songs, to her work with UNICEF, Judy Collins has always remained creative and vibrant as an artist. Her career is a walk through folk music history, from interpreting Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Leonard Cohen, and Joni Mitchell, to writing her own material and covering hits from various genres. The Shedd is pleased to welcome Ms. Collins back to the Jaqua Concert Hall.
