For our Jaqua Concert Hall musicals, we've built our scale with an eye to sightlines. The best seats on the main floor are on the two inner aisles, both in the center section and the 4 inside aisle seats in the outside sections. Balcony supports cause some sight obstructions. Most seating on the main floor is church pews with a padded seat and wooden back; rows A-B are padded chairs. Space for wheel chairs is provided on the outside left aisle and in section 101, row B (marked "W")..
Many Shedd patrons swear by the Jaqua's middle section balcony seats for their high quality sight lines and sound. The AA seats in the lower balcony are particularly noteworthy, but A and B seats also provide a great experience. The O seats are slightly obstructed. For musical theatre, we do not sell rows B and C on either side of the lower balcony horseshoe or Rear Balcony D1. All seating in the balcony is 1920s theatre-style, with padded seats and wooden backs.
