Artist statement and teaching philosophy
"My teaching style is positive and professional. I am particularly good at teaching students to understand concepts in visual, auditory, and kinetic styles. I am a firm believer in compassion, high standards and praise. I believe that music can/should be available to everyone in our community as a joyful experience. As a teacher, I encourage my students to apply themselves to the task at hand and to progress through consistent practice of their instrument. When students are successfully nurtured in each lesson, and are motivated to follow through at home, they will achieve their musical goals. I look forward to sharing my love for the piano and singing and welcome students of all ages and cultural backgrounds."
