Artist statement and teaching philosophy
“Music is a language that transcends borders. It is one of the few ways people of many nationalities, religious orientations, and ages can communicate. I teach music because I believe that everyone can make music. In the words of Victor Hugo, “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to ignore.” Most of all, music is something that can be pursued and shared for a lifetime, and I would like to open any and all doors you would like opened in this venue."
