The period of modern musical theatre begins in the late 1950s with the stunning West Side Story and continues through the 1980s with many memorable shows, including The Music Man, The Sound of Music, Oliver!, Fiddler on the Roof, Sweeney Todd and Into the Woods. Students will be immersed in worlds created by greats like Bernstein, Sondheim, and Rodgers and Hammerstein and will perform songs such as “America", “My Favorite Things", and “If I Were a Rich Man".
