The Magical Moombah 2016-17
Gloria's Culinary Calamity!
Fri, Jun 2 - Sat, Jun 3
Jaqua Concert Hall, The Shedd Institute
Har-Dee-Har-Har! Gloria enters a cooking contest and she’s in a stew when her recipes go a-rye. She uses natural ingredients to make an amazing pastry, and she finds a nonsense language to express how she feels! Look for lots of great songs, including “A Spoon Full Of Sugar”, “On Top Of Spaghetti”, “Food Glorious Food”, “One Meat Ball”, “Goober Peas”, “Yes, We Have No Bananas”, “Animal Crackers”, “Sing For Your Supper”, “Shortnin’ Bread”. “The Eggplant That Ate Chicago”, “Lollipop”, “Green Onions” at the very least!
Come join Rumbles, Gloria, Sparky, Sylvain, Tom, Ami-Nola and Steve for The Magical Moombah! Fun! Contests! Lots of songs! And don't miss the special Magical Moombah Music Box at 11:15 am, free with your ticket!
SPECIAL FRIDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM. On the Friday before each Saturday Moombah, at 10:15 am, The Shedd presents a special performance of the show designed especially for area school and home school groups. The fee for each school is $3/student ($2/Title 1 student). Contact the Registrar (541-434-7015 or to register).
Don't forget to come to the Music Box Sampler at 11:15! Everybody with a Magical Moombah ticket gets in free! As always you get to sample TWO different musical instruments. Today it's BAGPIPES with Eric Alpert and GUITAR with Corwin Bolt!
Ask for directions when you get to The Shedd (there'll be signs too) and don't miss it!.
