Evynne Hollens and the Contemporary Songbook Project return with another evening of music from the “contemporary” American Songbook May 4th, 6th & 7th at The Shedd Institute. This year's show will specifically highlight the music from the newest & hottest Broadway shows, including selections from the smash hit Hamilton: An American Musical!
Hollens & this year's team of fresh new talent will also perform hits from Tony Winning musicals: Kinky Boots, The Color Purple, Fun Home and Bright Star – as well as the most recent, currently-running Broadway hits Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, School of Rock and Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812.
In its 4th edition, Evynne Hollens' Contemporary Songbook Project is a celebration of the best of the new generation of songwriters working in the world of post-modern musical theatre. If editions 1-3 were any indication, it will be another evening not to miss!
