20-time Grammy winning guitarist and 2018 NEA Jazz Master Pat Metheny returns to The Shedd Institute October 22 on his current "Evening with" tour, which breaks from his project-oriented touring to revisit his entire opus. "I have so much music from over the years that I almost never play," notes Metheny, "I thought it would be fun and interesting to put together a really select group of musicians who could cover the widest range of everything I have done previously and could also possibly develop into something beyond that with a lot of playing together under our belts." He will be joined by Antonio Sanchez, Linda May Han Oh and Gwilym Simcock.
