Master blues duo John Cephas and Phil Wiggins have been called a latter-day Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee. However, they are very much unique artists in their own right, creating their own unique mix of Piedmont blues, gospel, Delta blues, R&B, folk ballads, and their own compositions. Last seen at OFAM as a part of Locomotion, our 2001 August festival, Cephas & Wiggins will appear this time in OFAM's new, acoustically-superior Shedd Concert Hall for an evening not to be missed.
