Background, professional training and performance history
Jamie Sieminski is a classically trained vocalist with a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from the University of Oregon. She found her passion for music early on in life and has followed it ever since. Jamie’s true love is singing and grew up participating in school choirs, solo and ensemble competitions, Musical Theater productions, Jazz camps, and the Oregon Bach Festival’s Youth Choral Academy. She has also had the pleasure of performing with the Eugene Opera Company, the Eugene Symphony, and the Women’s Choral Society, along with various other performing entities around Eugene throughout her musical career.
Though an avid performer, Jamie considers teaching her calling. She has done extensive course work in vocal and choral pedagogy and believes that becoming a great singer and musician begins with a healthy technical foundation, which can then stem into whatever styles are desired. Her favorite styles to teach include: Classical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Pop.
