Come enjoy an evening of music-making and help support The Shedd Institute’s Community Music School! Our resident chef has a fresh spring meal planned, featuring scallops & spring ramps with beurre blanc and pork tenderloin with mint pea pesto. For the vegetarians, we’ll have a spring mushroom and leek tart. Pair that with roasted red new potatoes, honey glazed carrots fresh from hey!bayles farm, a signature cocktail and Territorial wines, and fruit shortcakes with mascarpone crema for dessert, and you have an Oregon spring feast!
At dessert, we will be entertained by 6 different sets of performers. These musicians have day jobs as doctors, teachers, lawyers, and computer programmers, but they all have a shared passion for playing music together. You will hear everything from cello trios to woodwind quartet, folk harmonies to accordion, plus a bit of “rock”! That is what The Shedd is all about…celebrating lifelong music-making simply for the fun of it!
Tickets: $100 inclusive ($60 is tax deductible and benefits the steam heat replacement project). Call 541-434-7000.
