Summer rocks! And so can you…!! If you play electric guitar, electric bass, drums, percussion or sing vocals come have fun at the SHEDDRocks Band Camp this summer. Long time performer and recording artist, Bibs Goff will lead you through rock classics, like "Proud Mary" by CCR, "Wild Thing" by The Troggs, and "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" by The Clash, as well as new favorites like "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes and "With or Without You" by U2 . SheddRocks ends with a live–recorded concert and CD for all of your friends and family!
Requirements: Guitar, electric bass, drum set, vocal and percussion players welcome. Other instruments welcome with pre-approval. All students must have some prior experience with their instrument.
At the SHEDDRocks Camp, each student receives a “tool kit” of all things Rock band. Each day begins with a review of Rock and Roll, studying the pioneers and understanding their technique. This is then followed by the campers then working with their individual instrument, with Bibs giving pointers on how best to get the Rock Band sound. The final hour is dedicated to playing together as a Rock Band and working on both classic Rock songs as well as more modern ones. Each camp culminates in a final performance of all music played during the 2 weeks.
