The Festival Community Sing-Alongs are a great way to get into the music! As usual, there are two afternoon sessions in the Sheffer Recital Hall, each with its own song list, open to all-comers. Amy Adams leads this Week 1 Sing-Along, which focuses on popular songs of the 1930s, coming out of both Broadway and Hollywood, including songs by Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen, the Gershwin Brothers, Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Dorothy Fields and Jerome Kern, and many more as sung by everyone from Kate Smith and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to The Marx Brothers and Judy Garland.
