Michael Anderson and the micophilharmonic open their 2019-20 season with an afternoon of Beethoven, in anticipation of what will be a flood of tributes this season and next on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his birth (December 17, 1770). The program offers two pieces from early in his career, beginning with his 1797 Trio in B-flat, Op. 11 for clarinet, violoncello, and piano which is followed by his 1880 Septet in E-flat, Op. 20.
