Shedd Theatricals 2022 presents 3 classic musicals: George & Ira Gershwin's 1924 musical comedy classic Lady Be Good (July 8-17), Richard Adler, Jerry Ross, George Abbott & Richard Bissell's 1954 musical adaptation of Bissell's 1953 comic novel 7 1/2 Cents, The Pajama Game (Sep 9-18), and Rodgers & Hammerstein's unforgettable 1959 classic The Sound of Music (Dec 2-18). All 3 fully-staged productions feature a live orchestra.
