prominence in the mid-'30s by the likes of Ben Webster, Andy Kirk, Hot Lips Page, Lester Young, Mary Lou Williams, Big Joe Turner, Jay McShann, and, of course, Count Basie. Look for iconic pieces such as "Moten Swing", "One-O'Clock Jump", "Hot Water Blue", and "Jumpin' At The Woodside" among many others.
