As with all the writers of great American standards, Berlin's songs have always proved excellent fodder for jazz improvisation. Dick Hyman and his small band (including Ken Peplowski, Randy Sandke, Peter Appleyard, Doug Miller and Frank Capp) dedicate an afternoon to just that. Numbers include "Heat Wave", "Cheek To Cheek", "He Ain't Got Rhythm", "Lazy", "My Walking Stick", "Shaking The Blues Away", "Let Yourself Go" and more.
