Not all of Cole Porter's songs are evocative of top hats and martinis–he was also an acknowledged master of the comedy song, as evidenced by gems like "Find Me a Primitive Man", "Miss Otis Regrets", "The Tale of the Oyster", "I've A Shooting Box In Scotland", "I'm A Gigolo", "Down In The Depths On The 90th Floor", "Let's Do It" and "Give ‘Em the Oo-La-La". We welcome saxophonist Harry Allen and OFAM's favorite clarinetist, Ken Peplowski, to the festival for its second week, along with the irrepressible, always extremely-entertaining Ian Whitcomb! They'll be joined by Dick and his rhythm section, Shirley Andress, Ty Stephens and Julie Alsin for plenty of fun. So prepare for a light-hearted afternoon concert full of mirth and merriment–the Cole Porter way!
